Free test kits offered

From World Water Monitoring Day e-newsletter:
Due to the overwhelming response we have received from our National Public Land’s Day promotion that we started in May, we’re doubling the number of available water quality testing kits and will honor requests received by 03 August.
For the third consecutive year, National Public Lands Day (NPLD), the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance America’s public lands, is partnering with WWMD. As part of this effort, free water monitoring kits will be given to sites that register for NPLD and indicate they are affiliated with WWMD or to sites that register with WWMD and indicate they are affiliated with NPLD.
The Basic Kit includes one set of hardware and all the materials needed to conduct up to fifty rounds of testing for dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and temperature.
This year, National Public Lands Day will take place on Saturday, September 24. All kits will be shipped between July and September while supplies last. Please contactwwmd@wef.org with questions.
