Wekiwa Springs State Park Youth Camp
Longwood, Florida
Located at the headwaters of the Wekiva River, the beautiful vistas within this park offer a glimpse of what Central Florida looked like when Timucuan Indians fished and hunted these lands. Today, canoeists and kayakers paddle along the Wekiva River and Rock Springs Run. Thirteen miles of trails provide opportunities for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. It is a perfect spot for natural and cultural heritage resource interpreters and educators to get together and share their expertise!
More information will be coming to you soon! To volunteer for the planning committee, contact Debbie Fritz-Quincy at hsnature@aol.com or call (772) 546-2067.
